So, as I previously mentioned, I'm currently re-certifying my CCNA qualification and running through the ICND2 study guide.
Having worked through the first major section, which covers VLANs, STP and VTP (as well as some misc items) I wanted to incorporate this into GNS3. My primary reason for this is that Cisco Packet Tracer, while handy and free, doesn't simulate some features properly and is missing some functionality. I prefer to be working with something more realistic so set about setting up a switch in GNS3.

So I have to Europe after two years travelling and working in New Zealand and Australia and am now living in France.
I'm currently working on re-certifying my CCNA, which expired while travelling and so will be posting anything I think of that's related to my studies as I go. Interestingly my Weebly dashboard says I have had 5 unique visitors to my blog in the last week. As there's only two semi-useful posts on here that's pretty good going but I'm also paranoid enough to play around with setting up Google Analytics for the future. Anyhow, anyone lurking in the dark corners, feel free to say hello in the comments. |
